Mark was our realtor when we bought our first home in the Austin area. We were extremely pleased at how personal, yet professional he was. He really paid close attention to our comments in each house, and continually updated his list of homes making a great effort to seek out just what we were looking for. We never felt that we were being "sold" on anything, only that we were being given as many options as possible in order to find what was best for us. We are very happy in our current home, and have already recommended Mark to our friends. We are currently looking for rental property and land with Mark, and will continue to use him well into the future. This is a letter of recommendation for our real estate agent, Mark Blackburn of Keller Williams Realty in Austin, Texas.

We wanted to relocate to Austin and we needed a find a property that suited our specific personal and professional needs in the part of the area we liked best.  We came to Austin three times over a three month period to house hunt.  We met Mark on our first trip, became acquainted with him, and decided to retain his services.

Once we were able to come up with criteria for what we wanted in a property, we began our search.  Mark drove us anywhere we wanted to go, and we checked out several neighborhoods, and looked at around thirty properties.  We received from Mark sensitivity toward the criteria in a home we were seeking, his objective viewpoints on what attributes made certain properties good possibilities for us, and a productive sense of direction.  He always had snacks and a cold beverage on hand to keep us going while driving around during the hot Austin summer.

When we were able to narrow our search to the few homes we liked best, Mark provided useful information we needed to make the decision on the property that was best for us.  Mark assisted us in every way through the offer making and negotiation processes, as well as the exercise of the property inspections and seeing through repairs we wanted done, right through to closing.  This was especially helpful to us, as we previously lived in a different region of the country.

I have every confidence that anyone who wants to buy or sell a property in the Austin area would do well and be fortunate to have Mark Blackburn on their side, working for them.
